Seat 1: Joao Nogueira, 21, Penefiel, Portugal – $1.10 PokerStars qualifier - 2,890,000
Joao Nogueira is a 21-year-old air conditioning installer from Lagares, Penefiel, Portugal, a small town in the northern part of the country that’s home to only 2,500 people. Nogueira has only been playing poker for eight months. He won his seat after playing a $1.10 Sit and Go which got him into a $10 qualifier – which he won! This is his first live tournament and, now guaranteed at least $165,900, he’s planning to use part of his winnings to throw a massive party for everyone in his town - including his girlfriend, Diana, who couldn’t make the trip because of school obligations.
Seat 2: Dimitar Danchev, 26, Plovdiv, Bulgaria - PokerStars qualifier - 1,995,000
Dimitar Danchev booked his seat to the PCA main event through PokerStars in a $700 qualifier. The 27-year-old has been playing poker for more than five years with more than half of that time as a professional. He generally doesn’t play too many tournaments and prefers to concentrate on cash games—no limit hold’em, which he plays online. In October of 2011, Danchev netted his largest live score when he made the final table of the EPT Sanremo main event. He finished second behind Andrey Pateychuk, taking €600,000 after the two struck a deal. Since the result in Italy, Danchev has added another $161,113 to his live tournament record. He has already surpassed the $1 million mark for career live tournament earnings and is top of the Bulgarian all-time money list. Danchev has the chance to bring Bulgaria its first EPT title.
Seat 3: Andrey Shatilov, 26, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia - 3,220,000
Russia’s Andrey Shatilov bought in to the PCA with FPPs – 750,000 of them! He already has a solid list of previous live event cashes, including a win at an event in the Dominican Republic in 2012 worth $108,000. This will be the 26-year-old’s first major final table however, and his biggest cash to date. He’s currently sitting in 120th place on the Russian all time money list, but victory in the PCA Main Event would instantly land him in 10th place, among the highest-earning players the country has ever produced.
Seat 4: Owen Crowe, 30, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada - PokerStars player - 2,900,000
Owen Crowe is a 30-year-old professional player from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Crowe has tournament earnings that date from 2005, but he came to prominence during the 2008 World Series main event, where he finished 15th from 6,844 runners. Since then Crowe has had tremendous success at the WSOP, making four final tables over the past four years. Since breaking onto the poker scene Crowe has amassed $1,797,915 in live tournament winnings, plus exceptional success online, where he plays as "ocrowe".
Seat 5: Jerry Wong, 30, Plattsburgh, USA - PokerStars player - 7,400,000
Jerry Wong didn’t get a shred of sleep prior to Day 5 – a mosquito took up residence in his room and bit him all night. Although he was tired, the 30-year-old soared to the chip lead during the penultimate day, which he will take into the final table. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Wong graduated from Plattsburgh University last year with a degree in finance but considers himself to be a professional poker player, with results stretching back five years. His biggest result to date came in 2008 at the World Poker Finals in Mashantucket. Whatever result Wong records in the PCA 2013 final, it will be a new best.
Seat 6: Jonathan Roy, 25, Boucheville, Quebec, Canada - PokerStars player - 1,525,000
Jonathan Roy closed out 2012 with a bang as he won the World Poker Tour Montreal Main Event for a payday of $755,601. He defeated a record field of 1,173 players there to win the title and the largest score of his career. Roy is good friends with Team PokerStars Pro Jonathan Duhamel, who was on his rail for Roy's big win in Montreal. We expect Duhamel to be sweating Roy hard from the rail here in the Bahamas as well. Formerly an online player, the 25-year-old has been transitioning into live poker a bit more recently. After Black Friday hit, Roy moved away from the virtual realm, claiming that he was "scared about online poker." Clearly the transition has worked out for him so far. Already earning $165,900 in prize money, Roy has locked up the second largest score of his career and pushed his live career tournament earnings up to more than $1 million.
Seat 7: Joel Micka, 24, USA - 6,475,000 – Supernova player
Joel Micka originally hails from Washington State, but now lives all across the world: in Thailand, Canada or Costa Rica. Micka plays under the name 'JMPRODIGY' on PokerStars where has won $352,842 in online tournaments. He has a string of live results with his best to date being $148,993 for a runner-up finish at LAPT San Jose in 2008. He also won the Macau Poker Cup High Roller event for $64,350 as well as cashing in last summer’s World Series of Poker Main Event for $38,453 and he's currently being railed by a number of Supernova friends who are trying to cheer him on to another win. (They also have a cut of Micka’s action.)
Seat 8: Yann Dion, 29, Québec, Canada - PokerStars qualifier - 2,535,000
Yann Dion, who is 29-years-old and comes from Québec, has more than $300,000 in live tournament winnings. His largest live cash came at the 2012 Aussie Millions Main Event when he finished in seventh place for A$170,000. However, "yadio", as he is known online, has made his mark with more than $2,000,000 in winnings on PokerStars ad other sites. Aside from wins in the Bigger $109 and the Sunday $109 Rebuy in 2012, Dion closed out the year by winning the FTOPS Main Event for $453,229 and final tabling the Sunday Million the following week, finishing sixth for $46,308.

Seat 1: Shaun Deeb - (2,536,000)
Shaun Deeb, 26 from the United States, enters the final table as the chip leader with more than 25 percent of the chips in play. Deeb has amassed nearly $1.9 million in career live tournament earnings, including a runner-up finish in the $5,000 Bounty Shootout ($75,000) held at the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Deeb’s largest cash to date came in the star-studded, $25,300 mega satellite into the $1 Million Big One for One Drop this past summer, where he finished runner-up earning a tournament buy-in. The event was capped however, so Deeb pocketed the million dollars. His previous biggest live win was “taking down” the €20,000 High Roller Event at EPT Kiev in 2009 - after beating a field of three players.
Deeb is more known for his dominance on the virtual felt – in 2012 he won four SCOOP titles, he has won two-career WCOOP bracelets, and he has also earned an FTOPS jersey.
Deeb is guaranteed to take home $129,940 at this final table, making it the second-largest live cash of his career, but with the chip lead, he’ll be gunning for the win.
Seat 2: Vladimir Troyanovsky - (1,625,000)
Vladimir Troyanovsky, 39 from Russia, enters the final table second in chips. Troyanovsky has already had success at the tenth anniversary PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, finishing seventh in the $100,000 Super High Roller ($257,580). Prior to the 2013 PCA, Troyanovsky’s largest career cash was for $29,983, which he earned for finishing 27th in the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event.
Troyanovsky would nearly double his career live tournament earnings with a fourth-place finish in this event, and more than quadruple them with a win.
Seat 3: Ole Schemion - (1,227,000)
Ole Schemion, 20, from Germany, enters the final table fifth in chips, but first in age. The youngster has already amassed over $2.1 million in career live tournament earnings, winning the 2012 Masters Classics of Poker in Amsterdam for $368,895, and then winning the 2012 – and perhaps last ever – Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, pocketing $1,474,671. He also has two other firsts, winning side events at EPT Berlin in both 2011 ($77,138) and 2012 ($90,075).
If Schemion wins today, he would have over $3.5 million in career live tournament earnings, which would be quite a feat for a 20-year old player.
Seat 4: Mike Watson - (1,620,000)
Mike Watson, 28 from Canada, enters the final table third in chips. No stranger to success in high rollers, Watson won the €50,000 Majestic High Roller at the 2012 World Series of Poker Europe, earning $1,304,648, and finished runner-up in the €50,000 Super High Roller at EPT Barcelone, earning $490,847. Back in 2008, Watson finished third in a £20,000 High Roller event at the European Poker Championships, taking home $441,295.
Watson’s largest cash to date came in July of 2008 when he won the $15,000 Bellagio Cup, earning $1,673,770. He has over $5.3 million in live career tournament earnings, and the Canadian has already seen a small bit of success here at the 2013 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, finishing 14th in a $5,000 side event for $16,080.
Seat 5: Bryn Kenney - (484,000)
Bryn Kenney, 26 from the United States, enters the final table seventh in chips. Kenney final tabled the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $100,000 Super High Roller, earning $643,000 for his third-place finish. It was his largest cash to date, nearly tripling the $255,242 he earned for finishing 28th in the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Kenney has over $2.4 million in career live tournament earnings, and has seen a lot of success on the virtual felt under the screen name “BrynKenney.” He will need to gain a few chips early to compete at the final table today, but that is far from improbable.
Seat 6: Micah Raskin - (389,000)
Micah Raskin, from the United States, enters the final table as the short stack. At the unofficial nine-handed final table, he played a 2.4 million-chip pot with Shaun Deeb, in which he called Deeb’s all in on a board of [7s2d9c8d] holding just [5h5d]. Deeb had that crushed with [adas], and held when the [2c] completed the board.
Raskin has amassed over $1.3 million in career live tournament earnings, with his largest cash coming in 2009, where he won a Borgata $500,000 guarantee ($320,231). He came to notice in Europe after finishing sixth at EPT Sanremo last October for €312,000. At the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Raskin finished sixth in the $10,000 High Roller for $39,575, and at the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, he took second in a $2,000 bounty event for $23,850.
If Raskin finishes fourth or higher today, he will earn the largest cash of his career. As it stands, he’s already locked up his fourth-largest score ever.
Seat 7: Tobias Reinkemeier - (876,000)
Tobias Reinkemeier, 25 from Germany, enters the final table sixth in chips. Since 2010, Reinkemeier has reached the final table of seven high roller events, and winning one; the €25,000 High Roller at the 2010 PokerStars EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo ($1,272,698). In 2012 alone, Reinkemeier finished fifth in the €50,000 Majestic High Roller at the World Series of Poker Europe, second in the €100,000 Super High Roller at the EPT Grand Final, and third in the €10,000 High Roller at EPT Barcelona.
Reinkemeier has over $4.2 million in career live tournament earnings, and is looking to best his sixth-place finish in the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $25,000 High Roller event.
Seat 8: Vanessa Selbst - Team PokerStars Pro (1,512,000)
Vanessa Selbst, 28 from the United States, enters the final table fourth in chips. In 2010, Selbst finished fourth in the £20,000 High Roller event at EPT London, which is one of twelve six-figure scores on her résumé. Selbst of course won both NAPT Main Events held at Mohegan Sun in 2010 and 2011, earning a total of $1.2 million, and she took down the 2010 Partouche Poker Tour Main Event, pocketing $1,823,430.
With a fourth-place finish or higher, Selbst will take first in the all-time money list for female players, passing Kathy Liebert by a few thousand dollars. If she finishes third or higher, she will become the first female to earn $5 million in live tournaments.
