With a full schedule of events that will run from January 6-15, the 2013 PCA will be huge, with a poker tournament for all types of player, held at the Atlantis Resort and Casino, situated on Paradise Island in The Bahamas. As the name suggests, it’s a stunning location, making it the perfect venue for PokerStars premier live event. John Dibella from the USA won the Main Event in 2012, collecting an incredible $1,775,000 for first place from a total prize pool of $10,398,400. Team PokerStars Pro Viktor Blom won the $100,000 Super High Roller tournament for $1,254,400 and fellow Teams Pros Jonathan Duhamel and Daniel Negreanu finished in 4th and 5th places respectively. The $25,500 High Roller Event was scooped by Leonid Bilokur, who took home $1,134,930 in cash, and Duhamel scored big again, pocketing $634,550 for 2nd. Congratulations to Peru, World Cup of Poker VIII Champions! Led by Martin Sansour, Peru picked up $90,000 in cash for the win, with 2nd going to the Netherlands and 3rd to Japan.
For the third year, the PCA schedule featured a ladies-only event with a $1,100 tournament. Congratulations to Kathy Saraf from the USA who won the event and $25,460.
